The Dorchester Elite Eagles 14-and-under football team clinched a berth in the Pop Warner Super Bowl Division 1 championship game by defeating Hartford (Conn.), 29-0, in a national semifinal game in Orlando. Dorchester played the Pine Hills (Fla.) Trojans for the national title at Camping World Stadium in Orlando.

American Youth Football
American Youth Football, Inc., established in 1996, is a support services organization, dedicated to giving back to communities by promoting the wholesome development of youth through their association with exemplary adult leaders in the sport of American football and cheer. Guidelines are established to ensure that players play in an atmosphere of learning with a competitive balance between teams.
American Youth Cheerleading
The AYC Inspiration Division enables youth with either cognitive or physical disabilities to participate in cheer competition.
Competing Up - Cheer
AYC provides an "Age Waiver Request Form" that an association may use for an age waiver. The form is located on MyAYF.com. This form MUST be signed and approved by the applicable AYC Region Cheer and Dance Director and then submited to the AYC National Cheer Commissioner prior to the athlete's placement on a team. Not having the proper waiver could result in the director denying the waiver.
